Wax on, wax off ....

Just watched the new trailer and the first thing that stikes home is the fact that its now all Chinese rather than Japanese. So no more references to Okinawa and lovely bits of Japanese culture.

Jackie Chan is no Mr Miyagi - instead of "show me wax on, wax off", we have "take your jacket off" !!!....

Sorry, looking at the clip it's going to be another remake that shouldn't have been.

Pah! it was bad enough when they did the best-forgotten-about 'Next Karate Kid' with Hilary Swank but at least Mr Miyagi was in that one! That was full of nonsense like 'The Tiger Stance' which has nothing to do with Karate either.
