What's the first film you were taken to see as a kid? Believe it or not, mine was Paint Your Wagon (1969) with Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood when I was 3 years old. Umm I don't think my parents really chose that one for me somehow! I blame my father wholeheardedly for any subsequent Clint Eastwood fixation. |

What was the last truly scary horror film you saw? I grew up on Hammer House of Horror & Stephen King books which explains a lot but I just don't think films are scary these days? |

What is the best night out watching the big match ever? I had a fab time the night of the England-Germany semi final of Euro 96, sadly we lost after a string of nail biting penalties but the drunkenness in Nottingham market square afterwards (including a whole array of boys showing me their st george cross boxers in the street!) made up for it :D |

I was too much of a goth to skateboard but Dom was my first friend when I moved to a new town and had no friends. First saw the guy looking cool hotwheeling down the road while I was on the other side waiting for a bus and listening to The Smiths on my Walkman. Looking cool until he tried to ollie up the pavement, failed, wiped out and landed on his nose. You have never seen a goth laugh so hard.
Thus began a beautiful relationship which involved lots of me sitting around drinking cider and inhaling aerosol cans, whilst watching skaters try to do bonelesses, noseflips, railgrinds and other improbable feats. A wonderful world of cool sub-culture emerged which had a big influence on my musical tastes, as well as my fear of anything with four wheels.
And just for posterity, here is a song which Mr Tromby wrote for his band Hospital Bomber - i'm afraid I am responsible for his guitar tuition.
