What's the first film you were taken to see as a kid? Believe it or not, mine was Paint Your Wagon (1969) with Lee Marvin and Clint Eastwood when I was 3 years old. Umm I don't think my parents really chose that one for me somehow! I blame my father wholeheardedly for any subsequent Clint Eastwood fixation. |

What was the first video you rented? Remember renting videos? Which was your first rental? |

Your favourite RPG? I love JRPGs especially the Final Fantasy games - do you have a favoute RPG or series of RPG's? |

What was the last truly scary horror film you saw? I grew up on Hammer House of Horror & Stephen King books which explains a lot but I just don't think films are scary these days? |

What is the best night out watching the big match ever? I had a fab time the night of the England-Germany semi final of Euro 96, sadly we lost after a string of nail biting penalties but the drunkenness in Nottingham market square afterwards (including a whole array of boys showing me their st george cross boxers in the street!) made up for it :D |

Access Retrobabble content and exclusive retrogames direct from your browser.
Spiritual successor to the great Retrogaming Radio (come back Shane R. Monroe all is forgiven!) this site is the home of one of the longest monthly podcasts in existence.
If you dont already get it then I urge you to subscribe now as the content here is priceless. Not necessarily down to the subject matter but more down to the 'so-bad-its-funny' banter between the shows three protagonists, Scott (Suburubrat), SoCalMike and UKmike (and his unfunny alter egos UKDerek and UKColin).
The content includes a monthly top-ten which causes some great arguments, a hidden mic tour of the Southerrn California swapmeets (car-boot sales to the English), news, reviews and currently a great section on pinball restoration where Scott tries to guide pinball newbie UKmike through restoring an old broken pinball without electrocuting himself in the process. The guys have very distinct personalities and HUGE enthusiasm that makes the podcast really addictive stuff. The website itself is stuffed full of great retrogaming links from each podcast as well so get stuck in.
The humour is a weird blend of american nerdiness and english northerner smut which despite my earlier snipe makes for something unique, original and well worth listening too.
Keep up the good work lads and if you can get Shane on Skype sometime I'd love to hear how he's getting on as a full time Dad!
